On March 17, Day 2 of the 2025 Xiamen International Stone Fair, Booth A3851 remained a buzzing hotspot! Stone industry experts, designers, and buyers from around the world visited and praised our quarry marble products and innovative designs.

OKHA, a design brand from South Africa, partnered with PFM Quarry to showcase their Milano White Marble at the Guangzhou Design Fair. This collaboration resulted in a stunning art coffee table, praised for its unique "breathing white rock painting" qualities and ice-like natural patterns. The piece garnered significant attention from top design firms and won the "Material Application Breakthrough Award" from ELLE DECO International, solidifying its status as a game-changer in high-end design.

Milano White Marble has been successfully applied in several ultra-luxury residential projects in Dubai, including private homes owned by individuals ranked among the city’s top wealth holders. In a market where material selection prioritizes stability and long-term value, Milano White Marble has emerged as a trusted solution for high-end interiors.

Because of my involvement in operating a Milano White Marble quarry on the Pamir Plateau, I have gradually gained a deeper understanding of the mining industry.

This article recounts Susan’s real experiences in mining operations on the Pamir Plateau and in multiple cross-border collaborations. Facing high-altitude conditions, complex environments, and management challenges, she did not begin with prior mining expertise, yet chose to step forward once trust was placed in her. Through hands-on practice, she learned to manage teams, control risks, and engage professional expertise, holding “not betraying trust” as a guiding principle.

A future leader of Sierra Leone undertook a cross-continental journey to visit PFM for in-depth dialogue on national infrastructure development. Through professional exchanges with the PFM team, both sides shared insights into China’s engineering systems and global project experience, and explored forward-looking planning for Sierra Leone’s national-level architecture and public infrastructure, reflecting a shared long-term vision for development.

PFM’s Milano White quarry has unexpectedly connected with the renowned Hadid family. Known worldwide for architect Zaha Hadid and supermodels Gigi Hadid and Bella Hadid, the family also includes developer Mohamed Hadid, who is involved in designing a hotel project in New Jersey now considering Milano White marble—showing how stone can move from quarry to landmark projects.

Across PFM’s projects around the world, experienced craftsmen play a crucial role in turning design concepts into reality. Mr. Hu is one of them. Having worked with PFM for more than 20 years, Mr. Hu has participated in a number of major projects in different regions. From Tajikistan in Central Asia to Saudi Arabia and Qatar in the Middle East, and from Nigeria and Dubai to Trinidad and Tobago, his journey has followed PFM’s expanding global footprint.

On March 16, the Xiamen International Stone Fair opened. PFM showcased its flagship Tasso White Marble, with a pure white background and natural refined veins. Global stone professionals—architects, designers and distributors—visited PFM’s booth, showing strong interest in its application in luxury residences, hotels and public buildings. With stable high-quality quarry resources and rich project experience, PFM invites global partners to its booth at A3 Hall · A3862 for cooperation.

Tasso White made a striking appearance at the Xiamen International Stone Fair, capturing global attention with its refined white tone and natural veining. Widely recognized by professionals—including those from Italy—it is seen as comparable to premium classic stones, marking its entry into the international high-end design scene.

PFM VANJ Tajikistan Factory is a 40,000 m² modern stone processing facility, opened in June 2025 in Vanj, just 50 km from the Tasso White quarry. Serving both the local market and international demand, the factory integrates the full production chain—from block processing and cutting to slabs, tiles, mosaics, and crafted stone products such as staircases and balusters—exporting to markets including China, Italy, and India.
